Buy Bakugan battle pack now
The Bakugan toy craze continues. For parents looking for a cool toy that your children want but that also has an educational value, then the Bakugan cards and balls may be just what you need. The two products featured above contain everything that your child requires to get started playing the Bakugan game. The starter pack contains 3 metal cards, 3 Bakugan warriors, 3 ability cards as well as a set of instructions. The battle pack has 6 Bakugan warriors, 6 metal Bakugan cards, 6 ability cards and a set of instructions. This is just the right amount to get a two player game going.
The Bakugan warriors are marbles for the 21st century. They are magnetized so when they land on the metal cards they spring open, ready to attack! Before the game starts, each player selects 3 cards and 3 balls. Bakugan gate cards come in three colors (gold, silver and copper). There are three colors of ability cards also (blue, red and green). One card of each color must be selected. The easiest set up is just two players but can be played with up to four players at a time. Game play starts with the youngest player. Before I continue to talk about how the game is played I must make clear that as the Bakugan game makes use of small balls there is a safety issue that parents must be aware of. This is not a game for very small children. It is designed for children from 7 years old and upwards.
Gameplay starts with the youngest player. On their right hand side, each player places 3 Bakugan balls, 3 magnetized gate cards and 3 ability cards. Their left hand side is for their used warriors and cards. Each player places a gate card face down on the playing area. Then the game may commence. The object of the game is to win 3 gate cards. The first player to have 3 gate cards in their used pile is the winner. So how do players go about winning Bakugan gate cards? In turn, each player rolls one of their Bakugan warriors towards either of the gate cards on the playing surface. If they do it right, their ball will spring open into attack mode revealing their warrior’s G-power. When Bakugan warriors from two opposing sides are open on the same gate card, battle commences. The gate card is turned over to reveal bonus G-power scores as well as any special instructions, e.g. lowest G-power wins, players swap G-power scores, amongst others. Players may also choose to select an Ability card to help their Bakugan warrior win its battle. The Bakugan with the highest (or sometimes lowest) total G-power score wins the fight. This is the educational part of the game. Not that children feel like they are studying though. The thing is that to be able to play the game, children will be developing or re-enforcing their powers of mental arithmetic through simply playing an enjoyable game with their friend(s). The winner receives the gate card. And the first player to reach three gate cards wins. At the end of the game, everything is returned to its original owner. This is not a game where you play for keeps.
The best way to get started with this game is to buy a Bakugan starter pack or if you have two children or are feeling generous a Bakugan battle pack. It is possible to buy Bakugan balls separately as well. This allows children to expand their collection and attempt to build up a more powerful attack force. There are many places to buy cheap Bakugan, you just have to know where to look. Once your children have been playing this game for a while they may become interested in the more advanced options. At this time you may want to find out where to buy Bakugan traps.
