The Sphinx of Imagination is difficult to describe but easy to experience. I have tried a few self hypnosis CDs but none were quite like this one. The other CDs that I have used had more of a “Look into my eyes. You are now being hypnotised.”kind of vibe. However The Sphinx of Imagination is not like that at all. It is an aural treat that combines the deep voice of Hypnotica with the mood music of Denver Clay. The CD simply starts telling a story that every time I have listened to it puts me down. I am not awake but neither am I sure that I am sleeping. The Sphinx of Imagination certainly has a strong effect upon my consciousness.

The CD lasts for just under an hour. When listening to it Hypnotica suggests that we choose a quite place where we will not be disturbed and can lie down comfortably. Then with a high quality pair of headphones simply listen to the fantastical story that is The Sphinx of Imagination. Then as you wake from the sleeping/trance state you may experience some of the same feelings as myself. Often I feel refreshed, relaxed, confident, open to more possibilities, at ease with myself and generally more happy. It is hard to pin down exactly what it does over the longer term.
