There are many different Bakugan traps that collectors may want to add to their collection. Remember that during a battle only one trap may be used. That said, having a few to choose from provides a wider range of attacking options. Here are the names of the Bakugan traps.
Baliton, Brachium, Carlsnaut, Dark Hound, Dartaak, Dynamo Bakutrap, Falcon Fly, Fire Scorpion, Flash Falcon Fly, Fortress, Grafias, Grakas Hound, Hexados, Hexstar, Hylash Bakutrap, Legionoid, Metalfencer, Piercian, Pythantus, Scorpion, Spitarm, Spyderfencer, Triad El Condor, Triad Sphinx, Tripod Theta, Tripod Epsilon, Zeon Hylash and Zoack.
The 7 in 1 Maxus Dragonoid is made up of 6 traps and one regular Bakugan. The traps that are contained in this model are not available separately. The traps contained within the 7 in 1 Maxus Dragonoid are, Grakas Hound, Dark Hound, Grafias, Brachium, Spitarm and SpyderFencer.
When playing a game of Bakugan Battle Brawlers players may decide to supplement their regular Gundalian Invaders with a trap. The Bakugan trap rules are as follows:
- Players may use a maximum of one Bakugan trap during the game.
- Bakugan traps may be played during battle with the following condition – the Bakugan trap that you play must have the same attribute as the Bakugan it goes to help do battle. So a Subterra trap can only be played if your Bakugan that is fighting is also Subterra, a Pyrus trap can only assist a Pyrus Bakugan and so on.
- Traps either have hidden attribute symbols or bonus G-Power scores. These can be used to add extra force to your warrior doing battle.
- Once a trap has been used it is moved to your used pile.
- When you have no Bakugan available in your un-used pile and you move them back from your discard pile, you also restore your Bakugan trap.
When you buy Bakugan traps you not only get a useful tactical weapon to deploy during battle, you also get your hands on a new Ability card. This is useful because the cards included with the traps give them even more power when played at the same time. Everyone who collects these toys wants to buy cheap Bakugan although sometimes the prices can seem quite steep.
